I’m Rachel, the face of Mockingbird Studio. I’m a taxidermist, painter, fiber artist, illustrator but I like to call myself a Natural History Artist. My art comes from my observations of the natural world and the link that nature plays in education and conservation. I have a Wildlife degree from Purdue University where I got experience in a specimen collection lab and now I work with nature centers, museums, and universities creating educational displays that the public can enjoy.
